To monitor the use of the carparks, the Biarritz-Pays Basque Airport is equipped with a licence plate detection system.
The following information is recorded: The vehicle’s licence number, the date and time of entry, and the entry gate ID.
This information is stored locally in the carpark management system until the vehicle passes through an exit gate.
