With its rich history, its wonderfully mild and sunny climate and its privileged location on the doorstep of both the sea and the mountains, Nice is a city of architectural and cultural discovery, of quiet, leisurely strolls, of museums set in historic villas in the narrow streets of the old town, of beaches and gardens, and also of gastronomic discovery, with a thousand-and-one scents and flavours to tantalise the taste buds.
